Not my boss!

Maggie, you're not the boss of me! OK, so maybe you are.

Scout

Last but not least, this is Scout. Scout is old enough to be my great grandmother, but none the less we still have Westie brawls on the kitchen floor once Robbie and Maggie get tired of playing.

Robbie

This is my other buddy Robbie. Robbie takes eveything very seriously and doesn't play much.

Maggie

This is my buddy Maggie and boy do we love to play together. Maggie and I first met last summer after her current parents rescued her from the animal shelter. In this picture Maggie is hogging the toys!

The case of the kitty crispy

I kept my parents up all night last night. Why must something that tastes so good be so bad? This weekend while we were on a walk, I found a kitty crispy and managed to eat it before papa made me spit it out. For those of you who aren't familiar with them, Kitty Crispys (dried out kitty poop) are a delicacy for most small dogs. The only problem with them is that my tummy gurgles and makes awful noises for the next 24 hours and papa says they give me awful breath but I still kiss him anyway!

Living room chair

Today papa said I'm one of the laziest dogs he's ever met. I tell him that I play hard and then I rest hard and that I need my beauty sleep. None the less, he tells me he has evidence showing what a lounger I am.

Facing the world

Me, finally crawling out from the covers at 10:00 am on a Saturday. Note, I'm the only person left in bed!

Foiled! Papa caught me napping again!

Caught taking it easy again

The Scrub Jays and the peanut feeder

Papa recently added a new bird feeder to our backyard garden. He filled it up with peanuts which I thought was kinda strange cause normally the squirrels eat peanuts and being the rodent hating Westie that I am, I don't like squirrels! Soon after filling the feeder these loud screeching birds started flying through our backyard. Papa calls them "Scrub Jays". I'd like to get my paws on these guys and tell them to be quiet and leave our peanuts alone, but Papa tells me to leave them alone. He says they are one of the few native birds we've seen in our yard. I'm not sure what native means, but I guess from Papas excitement, its a good thing. Posted by Hello
